Wednesday, June 23rd over $13,000 was awarded in
scholarships to West Cobb players.
Since 1994, West Cobb Girls Softball has awarded over 200 Scholarships for a
total in excess of $130,000.
Funding for this program comes mainly from concession profits.

10U WC Blue Sox - All Stars
The WC Blue Sox had an overall record of
27-9-2.
This record was attained playing mostly travel teams.
Tournament champions of:

Tournament runner up of:

NSA in Dalton
They came in third in a NSA tournament in
Rome.
They played for the championship in 6 of the 7 tournaments they
entered.

2010 GSA 10U Fast Pitch World Champs
!
The WC 10U X-Plosion, a fast pitch
travel team played four games this weekend in the
2010
GSA world tournament in East Carrolton. With a 2 1/2 hour
rain-delay in the middle of the day ,
the X-Plosion went undefeated in four games to earn the first place championship
trophy.
Congratulations girls !
8U FP All-Stars
SEAA World Series 2nd place !
The WC 8U All-stars played 5 tournaments and
placed 3rd or better in 4 of them.
Their final tournament finishes were as follows:
1- First Place - GSA 5/29
2 - Second Place- WCGS 6/20 and SEAA
World Series 7/10
1- Third Place - CAM Sports 6/26
1 - Seventh Place - GSA 5/15
