in the annual Board Members Game.

8U Slow Pitch and Fast Pitch

In order to provide the best program for 8U softball; WCGS has combined both 8U programs
and re-designated them as "Universal 8".  This will provide a larger playing base and
greatly reduce traveling (or eliminate) for this age group. This is a continuing effort to improve our
program at West Cobb.  Coaches will have more information at practices.

COACHING FOR THE CURE"- Helping Kids Kick Cancer
If you or your team is interested in helping find a way to cure childhood cancer, this is an
excellent way.  This program was inspired by a nine year old boy who had leukemia.
If your child participates in a team sport  the team can donate the money they collect for a
coach's gift at the end of the season to "Coaching for the Cure".  This donation to "Coaching for
the Cure" becomes your gift to your coach. This is a gift everyone can feel good about.
A gift that teaches many lessons while touching many lives.

Welcome to our home on the web! This site has been created for the players, parents,
coaches, sponsors  and supporters of West Cobb Girls Softball at Lost Mountain Park.

The purpose of the West Cobb Girls Softball Association is to work in cooperation with the
Cobb County Parks, Recreation  and Cultural Affairs Department in encouraging community
unity for the purpose of obtaining opportunities for wholesome
recreation and advancement of parks and recreation.

The Association's objective is to provide a spring and fall softball program for girls from age 4
through age 19 years old living in the West Cobb County and surrounding communities.

We will be posting Schedules, Slow Pitch Team Standings, Fast Pitch Team Standings
and Rules and Regulations by which this league is governed. If for any reason you need to
